We have a very exciting fall planned with events, projects and fundraisers! Please check out all the amazing opportunities coming your way!
-Field Trip- Wednesday October 7th is our farm field trip It will be super fun at a family owned, farm with animals, hay rides, a pumpkin patch and much more! This is the last week to turn in permission slips. Attached to this email is the permission slip to be returned to the field trip mailbox in the back of the classroom. We can’t wait to see all of our friends there!
– Chick-Fil-A Night: Join JHTC for dinner at Chick-Fil-A this Thursday, October 1 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There will be games, cow appearances, and the playground, and all to raise funds! Be sure you mention you are there for the Johns Hopkins Toddler Co-op so we get fundraising credit!! Tell your children’s grandparents and other family members to join us too! The more, the merrier! Feel free to forward the attached flyer to invite more people! If you dine at Chick-Fil-A often, or know someone who does, buy some gift cards; we will get fundraising points!! Don’t forget to have your children wear their tee-shirts!
– Fall Pottery painting fundraiser in class during the week of October 12-16th! This would make a great personalized holiday gift for grandparents! Local artist, Kathy Fick, has agreed to do a fundraiser with JHTC. She provides ceramic plates, paint and brushes for anyone who signs up, and then she glazes and fires them for us and returns them to us in time for the holidays! Please sign up before Saturday, October 3rd by emailing Amy Lamb at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your plates. Cost for this fun and personalized activity is $25, a portion of this comes directly back to JHTC!
– Fourth Annual Bingo night on Saturday November 7! This event sells out every year and is JHTC’s biggest fundraiser. Early bird individual admissions are $15 if you purchase by Saturday October 17. Admissions purchased after 10/17 are $20/admission. We are also offering table sponsorships for $200 this year. With your $200 sponsorship, you will receive 10 admissions, plus recognition at Bingo night, recognition on JHTC’s website and more. – Mini Photography Sessions with local photographer, Laura Apicella, Saturday and Sunday November 14th and 15th: This is a MAJOR BARGAIN and a great way to have adorable professional pictures for your holiday cards! Thanks to everyone who signed up for a mini session with local photographer Laura Apicella! For those who could not attend Back to School Night, please find the sign-up form in the classroom. It will only be available for the next two weeks. For $55, you will have a 20-minute time slot with Laura, and she will provide you with a CD of 5-8 digital images!
-Last chance to win BINGO tickets! All new followers on social media will be entered into a contest to win TWO Bingo tickets! The winner will be announced at Chick-Fil-A Night! All you have to do is “follow” or “like” us!
